The number of beverage containers that qualify for a 10c refund has significantly increased since the South Australian Governments ‘Container Deposit Legislation’ came into effect back in 1975. One of the most significant increases is the use of small cardboard containers for flavoured milk and fruit juice drinks.

Any beverage container with one of these markings can be taken to ‘Adelaide Hills Recycling Centre’ for a 10 cent refund; and is one of the best ways to make money recycling, while helping to keep the Adelaide Hills clean and beautiful.
